Board of Directors The K21 Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization guided by a Board of Directors made up of community leaders with very diverse backgrounds and interests. Each of these directors also serves on at least one of the following five committees; Executive, Marketing, Grant-Making, Investment & Finance, and Nominating. These groups meet regularly to accomplish the various tasks associated with each committee. Committee decisions are then presented to the full board for final approval and implementation.

Jon Sroufe

Jon Sroufe is a North Webster resident who joined the K21 Health Foundation Board in 2006. He has also been on the boards for International Palace of Sports, the North Webster Community Center, the Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Shoop Sports & Youth Foundation. Mr. Sroufe has served as the President of the North Webster Town Council and as the Senior Trustee for American Legion Post 253.

Dr. Jennifer Lucht
A resident of Warsaw, Dr. Jennifer Lucht joined the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors in 2009. She is the principal of Argos Jr/Sr High School. She has served on the boards of Kosciusko County Youth Shelter Care, Inc. and Combined Community Services along with serving on committees for Kosciusko Leadership Academy. Dr. Lucht is a member of the National Association of School Principals and the Indiana Association of School Principals. She has focused her involvement with activities in the community which help better the residents of Kosciusko County.

Lee Heyde joined the K21 Health Foundation Board in 2005. Along with K21, Lee has also served on boards for the Cardinal Center, Inc., the Cardinal Center Foundation and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation. He has been involved in many civic activities including health care for the indigent in Kosciusko County, grant evaluation of Kosciusko County 501(c)(3)’s, formation of Matthew 25-type organizations, Warsaw Rotary Club, Shrine Club, the Scottish Rite and the Freemasons. Mr. Heyde is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Kosciusko County Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, and the Kosciusko Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Shari Boyle
A resident of Winona Lake, Shari Boyle joined the K21 Health Foundation board at the beginning of 2009. A community leader, she has been actively involved in numerous organizations. Some of the activities include Tri Kappa, Warsaw Community High School Parent/Teacher Board, and Edgewood Parent/Teacher Board and has been a team parent for numerous athletic teams. Mrs. Boyle has also served as the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Committee Gala Co-Chair which raises funds for the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund.

Karen Boling

Dr. Karen Boling joined the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors in January of 2008. A retired school administrator, she fills her time working in the Human Relations department at Paragon Medical in Pierceton. Dr. Boling has served on boards for Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce, Kosciusko County Board of Health, Cardinal Center, Warsaw Redevelopment Commission, United Way, IVY Tech Advisory Board and Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents. She has also been active with the Baker Youth Club. She has been a member of the Superintendents Leadership Academy, Phi Delta Kappa, Delta Pi Epsilon and Kosciusko County Human Resources Association.

Serving on the board of directors for K21 Health Foundation beginning in 2011, David Cates is an attorney with the firm Green, Cates & Grossnickle, LLP. He gives representation for the Northeast part of Kosciusko County residing on Lake Wawasee. Along with K21, Mr. Cates has also served as president on the following boards; Muskies, Inc, Lakeland Community Services, Inc, & Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Club. He also has served on the board of Syracuse /Wawasee Chamber of Commerce and as 2010 delegate for the Indiana Republican Conference. He holds membership with the Indiana State Bar Association, Kosciusko County Bar Association, & Council of School Attorneys.

Ken Davidson

Ken Davidson was elected to the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors in January of 2007. He resides on the north side of Tippecanoe Lake. He previously served on the Dalton Corporation Board of Directors for 15 years. Mr. Davidson has also served on boards for Kosciusko Community Hospital and the Cast Metals Association. He has been actively involved in the United Way and the YMCA. He has been a member of the American Management Association, the American Foundryman’s Society and various other personnel and industrial relations groups.

A local physician residing in Winona Lake, Dr. David Dick joined the K21 Health Foundation Board in 2008. Dr. Dick, formerly from Canada, has been practicing in the United States for over 15 years. He has served on boards with Forest Grove Community Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, Warsaw Flying Club and Experimental Aircraft Association - Warsaw Chapter 1109. He is a member of American Board of Family Practice, American Academy of Family Practice and Experimental Aircraft Association.

Becky Doll
Doll's Decorating Center
Becky Doll resides in Milford where she owns and operates Doll’s Decorating Center. She has been a member of the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors since January of 2006. Mrs. Doll has served on boards for Leisure Living Apartments, MAD and the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund. She is actively involved in her community helping in the local school and her church. She is a member and coordinator of Cansurvivor, a program that works solely to support cancer treatment facilities, cancer patients and their families.

Dr. Michael E. Grill
Grace College & Seminary
Mike Grill, Dean of the School of Behavioral Science at Grace College has joined the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors. Residing in Winona Lake, Dr. Grill has served on the Winona Lake Board of Zoning Appeals, Chair of Plain Commission of Winona Lake, and Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. and is active with the local homeless shelter. Along with teaching at Grace College he was the head tennis coach for many years at the college.

A Warsaw resident who is also a doctor serving Kosciusko Community residents, Dr. David Haines joined the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors in January of 2008. Other boards which he has served on are Medstat, Warsaw Breakfast Optimist and Kosciusko Community Hospital. He is active with the Optimist, Sacred Heart Church, Chain O'Lakes Chorus and Optimist youth projects including Safe Assured. Dr. Haines has been a member of American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Practice, American Association of Medical Review Officers and Barbershop Harmony Society.

Officer Joe Hawn
D.A.R.E. Officer Joe Hawn is on the Board of Directors for K21 Health Foundation. He has been involved in several organizations in the community including serving as a board member for Bowen Center, Salvation Army, and a trustee for Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. Officer Hawn has also been involved with Boy Scouts and has coached youth basketball and baseball for the YMCA and Spiece League. With a passion for scuba diving, he is a member of the Warsaw Police Department Scuba Diving team.

Rosy Jansma
Rosy Jansma joined the K21 Health Foundation Board of Directors in 2009. Residing in Mentone, she is the treasurer at Mentone Elementary School. Mrs. Jansma has been involved with the Akron Task Force along with Dream Club - Hispanic at Tippecanoe Valley High School and Hispanic Youth Mentoring at Mentone Elementary. She is also involved with Bilingual translation of English as a second language instructor.

Residing on the south side of Tippecanoe Lake, Dana Krull,CPA, has been active with a number of organizations including serving on the boards for Cardinal Services, North Webster Community Public Library, and Kosciusko Convention Visitors Bureau.
He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Some of his philanthropic interests are with organizations such as Timbercrest Senior Live Center, Manchester College, his local church, to name a few. Mr. Krull is managing partner and owner of Himes & Krull, LLC which is located in Pierceton. He is actively involved in the Pierceton community.

Dennis Reeve is a Warsaw resident who joined the K21 Health Foundation Board in 2006. He is the Vice President of Lake City Investments. Mr. Reeve has also served on the boards of the Lakeland Christian Academy, the American Red Cross and the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church. He has been actively involved with the Warsaw Noon Optimists, the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Grace College, the American Red Cross and is a member of American Bankers Association and Optimists International.

Jim Tinkey is a Warsaw resident who joined the K21 Health Foundation Board in 2007. He has served on boards for the United Way of Kosciusko County, Kosciusko Development, Inc., and the Kosciusko Community YMCA. Mr. Tinkey was the 2007 United Way of Kosciusko County Campaign Chairman along with being involved with the Warsaw Kiwanis Club. He is the Vice President of Business Banking for MutualBank. He is also a member of Robert Morris Associates.

Valerie Warner joined the K21 Health Foundation Board in 2007. She resides in North Manchester. She has also served the board for Altrusa and her local school’s PTO. Mrs. Warner is the General Manager for Kerlin Motors in Silver Lake. She has been the Coordinator for the Coat Drive for Combined Community Services.
